12/9/2025 11:47:00 AM | Men's Rowing
Syracuse men's rowing team will start its spring season on the east coast at the Princeton Invite on April 11 in Princeton, N.J., where SU will rake on some of the nation's top crews in California, Stanford, Princeton, Yale, and Brown.
Â
The following weekend, Syracuse will travel to nearby Ithaca, N.Y. for the the annual Goes Trophy race against Cornell and Navy. The Orange are looking to win the trophy for the sixth-straight year on April 18.
Â
The Orange then head to the Lake Morey Invite in Fairlee, Vt., on April 25 and 26. This annual meeting between Dartmouth, Boston University, and Georgetown will feature the competition for both the Packard Cup (vs. Dartmouth) and the Conlan Cup (vs. Boston U). The Orange hope to reclaim the Packard Cup after a loss to Dartmouth last season and retain the Conlan Cup from Boston U for the fourth year in a row.
Â
The EARC Eastern Sprints will take place in Worcester, Ma., on May 17. Syracuse is hoping to advance all four boats into the Grand Final and bring home a medal after last winning bronze in the varsity eight in 2023.
Â
The Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Championship Regatta is set for May 28-31 in Sacramento, Calif., marking the first time in six years the national championship will be held on the west coast. Syracuse hopes to build off their last appearance at the IRA Championships in 2025, after advancing every boat to the Grand Finals and placing sixth, their best team finish in program history.
