The Syracuse volleyball team begins the 2021 season with a series of home games as the Orange host Buffalo, Albany, and Connecticut in six match round robin format on August 27th and 28th in the Women's Building. 'Cuse opens the tournament against Buffalo on the 27th at 11 a.m. followed by a match against UConn at 7 p.m. Syracuse closes the tournament on the 28th with a match against Albany at 7 p.m. Admission to Orange volleyball matches is free. All fans attending games must adhere to Syracuse University's COVID-19 policy, which can be found here.

Weekend Schedule
Friday, August 27
11 am -- Syracuse vs. Buffalo (ACCNX)
2:30 pm -- Albany vs. Connecticut
7 pm -- Syracuse vs. Connecticut (ACCNX)

Saturday, August 28
11 am -- Buffalo vs. Albany
3 pm -- Connecticut vs. Buffalo
7 pm -- Syracuse vs. Albany (ACCNX)

Experienced Syracuse Roster
The Orange welcome back 12 players from the 2020-21 team. Middle blocker Abby Casiano is back after finishing sixth in the ACC in hitting percentage (.362) last year. Defensive specialist Lauren Hogan returns to anchor the defense after leading the ACC in digs per set (4.75) and third in total digs (280) last year.

Preseason Praise
Senior Polina Shemanova and junior Marina Markova each earned a spot on the 2021 All-ACC Preseason team. Syracuse was picked to finish sixth in conference in the Preseason Coaches' Poll.
