The 2013 Syracuse offense ran 958 plays, which ranks second in Syracuse history, and had 251 first downs, which ties for fourth in the Orange record book. |

In 2010, the Kansas City Chiefs led the NFL in rushing (164.2 ypg) while running backs Thomas Jones and Jomaal Charles combined for 2.363 rushing yards, the fourth highest toal in NFL history. |
In 2007, the North Dakota State Bison were ranked sixth in Division IAA in scoring (39.5 ppg), eigth in rushing (235 ypg), and ninth in total offense (463 ypg), and ranked first in scoring and second in rushing in the Great West Conference. |
In 2006, the North Dakota State Bison ranked fourth in Division IAA in scoring (35.1 ppg) and ninth in rushing (196 ypg) while leading the GWC in scoring, rushing, pass effciency, third down conversion and sacks allowed. |
In 2001 and 2002, coached tight end Chris Baker, who set the MSU record for receptions by a tight end and earned second-team All-American honors. Baker was an All-Big Ten Honorable mention and was selected in the third round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the NY Jets. |
In 2000, Michigan State ranked among the NCAA leaders in net punting average and kickoff return average. |
In 1998 and 1999, the Tiger Cats offensive line led the CFL in fewest sacks allowed while setting the league record in 1999. The Tiger Cats also led the CFL with 5.8 yards per carry. |
In 1997, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers' offense ranked first in rushing yards gained and third in number of sacks allowed in the CFL. |
