Orange Tennis Finishes First Day of UTR Fall Pro Slam

The Syracuse tennis team competed in the first day of the UTR Fall Pro Slam on Monday, Sept. 28 in Ithaca, N.Y.
Nelly Knezkova picked up a win for the Orange, defeating Thompson 6-1, 6-0. Emma Scaldalai fell to Saravanan, 6-1, 6-3. Monika Wojcik dropped a close match against Orzechowski, 6-4, 7-6 (3). Constance Levivier fell to Gelber, 7-6 (8), 6-2.
The Orange continue their fall season at the UTR Pro Slam in Ithaca, N.Y., through Oct. 5.
