Second-Half Surge Sends Syracuse Past Le Moyne

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse men's soccer improved to 6-3-0 on the season with a 2-0 home victory over Le Moyne on Saturday night at SU Soccer Stadium.
The Orange broke a scoreless deadlock two minutes into the second half when Gabriel Oksanen buried an unassisted goal, his second of the season. Bryson Rodriguez doubled the lead in the 63rd minute, finishing off an assist from Landon Darko for his third goal of the year, a mark that ties him with Pedro Gulli atop the team's scoring chart as Syracuse's co-leaders in goals this season.
The Orange out-shot the Dolphins 29-8 overall and 12-6 on shots on goal. Goalkeeper Juan Martinez-Bastidas earned the clean sheet, turning away six shots across the full 90 minutes.
Syracuse hits the road to continue ACC play at Notre Dame on Friday, September 25, at 7 p.m. ET in South Bend, Ind.
