Syracuse Appoints Beaury Director of Men's Basketball Operations

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Ryan Beaury '21, M '23 has been appointed men's basketball director of operations at Syracuse.
He returns to Syracuse following a two-year tenure as men's basketball director of operations at Siena.
Beaury will manage the operation of the men's basketball office, assist with the coordination of team travel, serve as the liaison with department support services, and organize recruiting visits.
He graduated from Syracuse in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in sport management. He earned a master's degree in instructional design, development and evaluation in 2023.
Beaury was a basketball student manager for four years, including the last two seasons as head student manager, at Syracuse. He was appointed to a graduate assistant post in 2021 and served for two years. Beaury assisted with analytical studies, film work, and the development of opponent scouting reports. He also produced recruiting-related videos.
He was promoted to video coordinator prior to the 2023-24 campaign. He oversaw all video operations and assisted with on-court coaching during practice and individual workouts.
BEAURY FAMILY
Beaury is married to Callie Beaury. His father, Brian Beaury, spent the past two years as a special assistant to Gerry McNamara at Siena. Prior to that, he had a 33-year coaching career at Division II College of St. Rose, where he guided the Golden Knights to 654 wins.
