BOSTON – Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) has announced its schedules for the upcoming 2025-26 season with Syracuse University women's ice hockey set to host five home series and a sixth home-and-home set with an in-state rival.
Syracuse went 11-9 in the league last season, the most conference wins since going 11-4-1 in 2021-22. The Orange reached the AHA Semifinals in 2024-25, taking down Robert Morris in the first round with a 3-2 overtime win. Syracuse battled eventual AHA runner-up Mercyhurst through three games in the semifinals, taking the first game 1-0 in Erie.
The nonconference schedule for Syracuse will be fully announced on Cuse.com once dates are finalized. Game times for the 2025-26 season will be announced at a later date.
Opening conference play, Syracuse takes on a newcomer to the AHA: University of Delaware. The Orange meet the Fightin' Blue Hens in Newark, Delaware on October 17 and October 18. The Blue Hens return the trip to Tennity Ice Pavilion on January 2 and January 3.
Late October sees the Orange split a home-and-home weekend with RIT, leading off in Rochester on October 24 before action resumes at Tennity on October 25. The final two games of the upstate series are slated for February 6 in Syracuse before a February 7 showdown in the Flower City.
November will be a road-heavy month for Syracuse, kicking off with a series at Lindenwood on November 7 and November 8. The Orange continue on the road to face reigning AHA champion Penn State on November 14 and November 15. Lindenwood comes to Tennity for back-to-back games on January 23 and January 24 while Penn State makes the trek to Syracuse on January 16 and January 17.
A semifinal rematch wraps up AHA play in November as Mercyhurst comes to town on November 21 and November 22. The Lakers will host Syracuse to conclude regular season action on February 13 and February 14 in Erie.
It will be a one-month turnaround for the Robert Morris series as Syracuse hosts the Colonials on December 5 and December 6 to finalize action in the 2025 calendar year. Syracuse heads for Moon Township, Pennsylvania on January 9 and January 10 for its first round series of the new year.
