
Syracuse Remains on the Road at NC State

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University volleyball team are set to travel to Raleigh, North Carolina for a matchup against NC State. The Orange will take on the Wolfpack on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. Fans can follow along with the match through live stats and can stream it live on ACC Network Extra.

'Cuse has a long history with NC State, the first meeting being on Sept. 17, 1983. NC State has won its last two vs. Syracuse and lead the series, 12-5. The last time 'Cuse met the Wolfpack, NC State took the match, 3-1. The Orange claimed their last win over the Wolfpack on Nov. 24, 2021, winning in straight sets. NC State comes into the match with a 17-7 record (7-6 ACC), having lost to Boston College on Friday night in five sets.

Last time out, the Orange were swept by the Boston College Eagles. Freshman Veronica Sierzant contributed eight kills, 10 assists, two block assists and one service ace in the match. Sierzant is now second in team assists (161), behind fellow freshman Mira Ledermueller (375). Junior Laila Smith contributed on both sides, tallying four kills on 10 attacks and two block assists.

'Cuse will return home to the Women's Building next weekend, taking on Florida State on Friday, Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. Fans will be able to follow along via live stats and can watch live on ACC Network Extra. Â
