
Orange Finish Long Road Trip at Duke

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Orange travel to Duke for the final away match of a four-week tour. Syracuse (11-2 overall, 0-1 ACC) is coming off a 3-1 loss at Boston College. Duke (10-2 overall, 1-0 ACC) beat the Eagles 3-0 on Friday.

Orange Leaders
Senior outside hitter Polina Shemanova, the MVP of the Hail State Tournament, leads the ACC in service aces (22) and is second in kills (188). The veteran ranks 14th nationally in kills.

Junior Marina Markova ranks first in the ACC and seventh nationally in kills (200), while senior Elena Karakasi, who was named to the Hail State All-Tournament Team, leads the ACC in assists with 440.

The Series vs. Duke
This will be the 12th meeting between the Orange and the Blue Devils, and the 10th match-up since the Syracuse joined the ACC. The Orange have won four of the last five meetings dating back to 2017. The Blue Devils lead the series 6-5.

Duke libero Mackenzie Cole ranks in the top five in the ACC in three statistical categories, including third in digs per set (4.25) and digs (170), and fifth in service aces (16). Duke rank fourth in the league in aces per set with 1.82.
