Senior Ryan Corcoran and junior Kuba Kotynia represented Syracuse swimming and diving at the 2009 AT&T Short Course National Championships in Seattle, Wash. on Friday and Saturday.
Kotynia finished 15th in the 200-yard breaststroke final with a 2:01.19 after qualifying with a ninth-place, 1:59.79 finish in the preliminary swim.
Corcoran competed in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing 73rd out of more than 100 competitors with a 21.35.
Kotynia, Cocoran and the rest of the Syracuse swimming and diving team return to the pool on January 3, 2010 when they begin semester break competition in Puerto Rico.
