Kathleen joined the SU sports medicine staff in July of 2007. Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Science- Kinesiology with a cognate in athletic training- Michigan State May 2003, and Master of Science- Exercise Science- Syracuse University May 2007. Kathleen is the Associate Athletic Trainer with women’s lacrosse. Her work experience includes, Associate Athletic Trainer Nov 2018- Present, Assistant Athletic Trainer July 2007 to Nov. 2018. Gatorade Co-Manager July 2011 to August 2021, Adjunct Professor August 2012 to present- Syracuse University- EXE 417- Care and Prevention of athletic injuries, Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer August 2005-June 2007. Kathleen is married to husband Matt Chaney, they have 2 sons- Donovan and Colton Chaney.Â
